International Snack Reviews Christmas Special

 

Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas! Today, I'm doing a special holiday post. You see, I ordered a box full of holiday snacks from around the world, and I've decided to do a special post, where I review them. Although, I haven't tried them all yet, I have tried most of them.

Walkers Sausage Roll Holiday Chips No sausages were harmed in the making of these chips. Experience the delight of these savory, English pastries in chip form. These chips were good. They have strong sausage taste, and good texture.

Twix Winter Spice the Twix you love with a UK holiday flare. a spiced shortbread cookie with caramel wrapped in chocolate. Thank goodness there's two! Why do we not have this kind of Twix here in the U.S.? They were so good, I think this is the best item in this box!

Cadbury Fudge Minis Delicious and so shareable! Tiny, soft fudge bites from the UK wrapped in decadent, smooth Cadbury chocolate.

Pizza Snacks Light corn-puffed clouds from japan coated in a savory pizza dust. the crunchy gift everyone wants in their stocking this year! This item, is okay. it doesn't taste like pizza, just bland.

Candy Cane Cookies  Light and crunchy cookie from Hawaii embedded with bits of mint candy cane. say aloha to these island holiday vibes! These are good cookies. You can taste that mint candy cane flavor.

Lebkuchen Riegel sweet and perfectly spiced gingerbread from Germany filled with the winter flavors of cinnamon apples coated in chocolate.

Christmas Umaibo the puffy corn umaibo from japan is coated in Christmas chocolate for a sweet and salty holiday surprise. This item is okay. The chocolate is good, but the inside is puffy and salty.

Milka Santa Clause This Santa shaped stocking stuffer is made of the same rich, sweet milk chocolate made Milka famous in 1901. This is the 2nd best item from this box I've tried so far, next to the Twix Winter Spice. The chocolate is delicious, and there's a big empty center in the middle.

Kokosmakrone Cream milk chocolate with chewy coconut center. This German candy bar combines too yummy flavors in one bite.

Santa on a Stick Ho-Ho-Ho It's Santa on a Stick! how many licks does it take to get to the center of this jolly chocolate pop? The World may never know. This chocolate pop only take a few delicious milk chocolate-y bites to get to the center! Seriously, this item is so good, it didn't take me long to gobble it down!

Maltesers Reindeer This English candy's malty center has a delightful snap that melts in your mouth. all wrapped with a silky chocolate coating. If you like whoppers, then you'll like this! I know I did.

Haribo Frohe Weighnachten Haribo brings in the holiday cheer with its famous gummies. bite into several fruity flavors all paired with a light coating of cream. I'm still eating this one, but it's good and fruity.

All right folks, that's all the items I have in this box. The two best items I got were:

Poppins

 

      Okay, for my last review for this month, I'm reviewing these fruit flavored jelly candies that burst with tangy, sweet flavor. they also have a unique texture that Indians refer to as "pulpy." At first, I thought these were Gummy candies, but they're not. They're hard candies. They do have a sweet, tangy flavor to them, and they're not bad, they're pretty good. So, If you have the chance to look for them online, do it.

Bhujia Sev

      Crisp besan sticks bursting with traditional flavors such as curry and red chilli. the texture and delightful spice of these snack strands will leave you addicted. Leave me addicted? Seriously? I don't think so. This is the worst item I got this month! Seriously, I tasted nothing addictive about it! I threw this item in the trash shortly after trying it!

F

Kaccha Mango Bite

 

     These candies give you the best of both worlds. Sweet with a natural twist. Experience the real and puckering tang of mango that is enhanced with a light, sugary bite. These Hard candies are okay, they do have a bit of a sweet, sugary taste to them. I wouldn't buy them but, they're okay.

Fab Jam-In

 

     Thin, crunchy cookie sandwiches filled with smooth and creamy fruit flavored cream covered with a layer of jam on top. This has got to be the best item I got this month! Seriously, It is the best one yet! The cookies were nice and soft, the jam and filling were really good! Seriously, if you can, go online and try to hunt this item down! it's that good!

A+!

Lay's Magic Masala

 

     Masala is one of india's most renowned flavors. These chips are bursting with traces of cumin, garlic, and chilli. consider bringing a little mouth wash after indulging on these. Just like the Kurkure chilli chatka, these are a little on the spicy side. Although, it's not the initial taste that's spicy, it's actually the aftertaste, as your swallowing it. Although, I probably wouldn't buy this item, but I kind of wonder why we don't have this flavor here in the U.S. Food for thought.

Kurkure Chilli Chatka

 

   Okay folks, in order to kick off this month's international snack reviews, I'm starting off with these snacks that live up to their name (Kurkure means crunch in hindi). the puffed rice flavored with spicy hot flavors will keep your fingers orange and taste buds alive. These snacks are basically Flamin' Hot Cheetos in a different color. Seriously, look is the same, texture is the same, Flavor is the same, it's just that what's different, is the color. That basically the only difference that I've noticed about it.
